Saudi Arabia opens tourist visa

The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia opened application for electronic tourism visa to citizens from 49 countries including China from Friday. The e-visa could be applied through Saudi Commission for Tourism & National Heritage's official website (www.sauditourism.sa).

According to the embassy's introduction, citizens living in China, who are not from those 49 eligible countries, could apply for tourism visa through Royal Embassy of Saudi Arabia in China. Applicants must meet the following requirements:

1. Log on to www.sauditourism.sa, fill out the application form, and attach all the required documents.

2. When applying, passport validity must be for at least 6 months at the time of entering Saudi Arabia.

3. Must have medical insurance coverage recognized by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

4. Pay the visa fee.

5. Fill out a valid address in Saudi Arabia.

6. Minimum age of applicant is 18 years old. Underage applicants require an individual above 18years old to be the guardian.

7. Provide return ticket.

8. Provide booking accommodation in Saudi Arabia.

9. Provide working certificate from employer.

10. Provide personal bank statement.

11. Provide flight information.

12. Provide other personal information(including domestic address).
