Guazi to target young people

Guazi, a leading used car platform of Beijing-based online car trading giant Chehaoduo, is stepping up efforts to better serve young people in the country.
Despite the downward spiral in China's new car market, used vehicle sales have been growing steadily in China.
Statistics from the China Auto Dealers Association show that their sales from January to August totaled 9.27 million, up 3.89 percent year-on-year.
Guazi said younger people are becoming an increasingly important source of customers.
In the second quarter this year, used car buyers born in the 1990s grew 65 percent year-on-year, while those born in the late 1990s surged 700 percent year-on-year, said Guazi.
In addition to a slew of business campaigns expected to start in October, it has partnered with Chinese actor Lei Jiayin to better serve its diversified customers
Lei, who is now a new brand ambassador, has recently made headlines because of his role in a historical suspense drama called The Longest Day in Chang'an. Several other new films and dramas starring him are scheduled to release soon.
Lei has a big following in China and many of them were born in the late 1980s and the 1990s, who are also target customers of used vehicles in the country.
Besides Lei, Guazi also has Sun Honglei, another Chinese actor, as its brand ambassador.
