Beijing lashed by disruptive downpour

Early Tuesday morning, downpours continued to affect Beijing's traffic, disrupting the life of the everyday commuters.

The short-term heavy rainfall was estimated to last until 5 am Tuesday and carried a relatively high risk of floods and geological disasters, according to the meteorological bureau.
