BEIJING -- A 7.0-magnitude earthquake jolted waters off the Java Island, Indonesia, at 8:03 pm Friday, according to the China Earthquake Networks Center (CENC).
The epicenter was monitored at 7.16 degrees south latitude and 105.00 degrees east longitude, the center said in a statement.
