Ministers of Economy and Transport of the Caspian 'five' will meet in Avaza

The Ministers of Economy and the transport authorities of the Caspian countries will hold parallel five-sided meetings in Avaza as part of the 1st Caspian Economic Forum. Meetings are to take place at the Berkarar Hotel on August 11.

A business forum on development of direct contacts between the business communities of the region and opening of the Caspian Exhibition of Innovative Technologies is scheduled for the same day. The exhibition will take place within the International Sea Port of Turkmenbashy.

On the second day of the forum the Avaza Congress Center will host the Conference "The Caspian Sea: Benefits of Strengthening International Economic Cooperation".

The main issues on the agenda include trade and economic cooperation and the energy potential of the Caspian region, as well as prospects for transport collaboration.

The delegates will discuss a "green economy" for the Caspian Sea and the possibility of a joint research in the sea.
