Cui Cuixiang is a resident of Podi village, Wuxiang county of Changzhi. Her family has benefitted from the national financial subsidies since 2014.
With the allowances she received, she purchased a tractor to help farming during the busy season. Since then, she has planted 1.13 hectares of millet, 0.07 hectares of corn and 0.13 hectares of sorghum.
After she completes her daily farmwork, she rents her tractor to other villagers. By 2018, Cui was enjoying an annual income of over 10,000 yuan.
