Priest preaches on snowboard

A vicar has performed the world's first snowboarding church service. Snow sports enthusiast Reverend Steven Young returned to the piste at the Chill Factore indoor snow slope in Manchester on Wednesday to perform a special blessing marking the end of the European ski season.
Clutching a Bible and wearing his dog collar, the priest of 10 years showed off his skills as he descended the slopes. The 37-year-old, who preaches at St Michael and All Angels Church in Mill Hill, London, said, "I began snowboarding seven years ago, learning on an indoor snow slope, and have been hooked ever since."
