Zoho Corp, a United States-based software products company, announced on Tuesday that it has established a new data center in Shanghai to further tap into China’s burgeoning cloud monitoring market.

With Site24x7, Zoho is introducing all-in-one monitoring capabilities, such as user experience, infrastructure and application performance monitoring to provide a better end-user experience for digital services. The product, fortified with AI for IT operations, proactively predicts outages based on event correlation, thus bringing downtime episodes to near zero, the company said.

The new data center in Shanghai is Site24x7’s fifth one globally, and the company will launch one in Beijing in the next quarter.

Zoho said its aim is to help businesses transition to a seamless experience via its all-in-one monitoring solution. Businesses can sign up for a three-month free trial of the full-fledged solution starting on Tuesday.

Li Fei, vice-president of Zoho China, said that businesses need to have an edge over other businesses and "this calls for continuous monitoring of cloud environments’’.  "Site24x7's entry into the China market brings in expertise and performance monitoring practices to address the growing business and IT challenges in the region, " he said.

With the blossoming big data, cloud computing and other technologies, the digital economy is playing an increasingly significant role in driving China's economic growth.

According to a recent report from the China Academy of Information and Communications Technology, China's digital economy was worth $2.4 trillion in the first half of 2018, occupying 38.2 percent of the nation’s gross domestic product.

International Data Corp estimated worldwide spending on public cloud services and infrastructure will reach $210 billion in 2019, up 23.8 percent over 2018. And China will be the world’s second largest public cloud market with an estimated $10.5 billion spending in 2019, only behind the US market, IDC said in a recent report.

"Slow is the new down in the digital era," said Srinivasa Raghavan, product manager of Site24x7. "China's growing adoption and optimization of digital services emphasizes the need to deliver top-notch user experience to their customers. Site24x7 bridges the operational gap for DevOps and IT teams with its deep monitoring insights that provide better visibility into performance trends and user impact, reducing time to repair and refine."

So far, Site24x7 has served more than 25,000 customers and more than 100 Fortune 1,000 companies worldwide, according to the company.
