Since China's reform and opening-up began 40 years ago, all aspects of society have continued to improve. As just one example, Inner Mongolia has witnessed dramatic changes in its economy. In terms of production, it has as turned away from the extensive economic growth model based on resource exploitation, and shifted toward a new industry model that pays attention to environmental protection and energy saving. Reform and opening-up continues to not only benefit production, but all walks of life.
