China National Petroleum Corp, the nation's largest oil and gas producer by domestic annual output, signed contracts with 23 global suppliers during the China International Import Expo in Shanghai on Wednesday.

Total contracted value exceeded $29.2 billion, with global players including Saudi Arabian Oil Company, Kuwait National Petroleum Company, GS Caltex and Qatar Gas.

The company will continuously expand cooperation with global partners to jointly push forward the oil and gas industry in the country, said Liu Hongbin, deputy head of the corporation, during the oil and gas sustainable development forum held during the expo on Wednesday.

CNPC looks forward to more participation in global oil and gas affairs, he said.
