The 2018 Tianjin International Children’s Culture and Art Festival will be held from the 27th to the 31st of July.
The event, jointly organized by the Chinese People's Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries, the China Soong Ching Ling Foundation and the Tianjin municipal government, will welcome more than 2,000 young children from almost 50 outstanding art groups from nearly 30 countries and regions.
During the festival, a series of colorful activities will be staged, including the opening and closing ceremonies, the Chinese and foreign children's grand gala, and special art performances. There will be a presentation called “Belt and Road to my home”, an international children's painting exhibition, and a grand gala and tour of Tianjin for all the world’s children.
During the festival, the children will communicate, learn from each other and perform together, displaying the unique charm of the intermingling of different cultures.
The world children's painting exhibition of this art festival highlights the theme of the Belt and Road, and displays over 100 children's paintings from 65 countries along the B&R route.
During the festival, the works will be exhibited in the Future Children's Park of China in Tianjin, bringing life through the eyes of children to everyone in that city.
