"Farmers in our village now have multiple roles, they are shareholders, bosses and even actors," said Feng Yanqing, secretary of the village Party branch.

He also said the village has developed collective economy by the funds raised by farmers. Many villagers now operate hotels, run tea factories and have become bosses.

In order to attract tourists, the villagers also stage singing and dancing events at night.
