PRAGUE - Czech Prime Minister Andrej Babis' new minority government won a confidence vote in parliament, according to results announced Thursday.
With the support of the Czech Communist Party, Babis' cabinet, composed of the centrist ANO and the Social Democrats (CSSD), won 105 votes in the 200-seat parliament. A total of 196 deputies took part in the vote.
This is Babis' second government since his ANO won the election in October. His first minority government lost a confidence vote in January and had to resign.
The deputies started to vote on Wednesday morning. The speaker of the lower house, Radek Vondracek, announced the result, ending months of political instability.
The ANO has 10 posts in the new government and the CSSD five.
