British Prime Minister Theresa May appointed Health Secretary Jeremy Hunt as foreign secretary on Monday following the resignation of Boris Johnson.
Johnson resigned in protest to May's approach to Brexit negotiations, which he believes do not give the UK sufficient independence in the EU.
His resignation follows the resignation late Sunday of former Brexit secretary David Davies, who left his post for similar reasons, creating further uncertainty for the Brexit negotiations.
