Armed man holds hostages in Paris, police operation underway

PARIS - Several people are being held hostage in Paris after an armed man stormed a building in the capital's 10th district, news channel BFM TV reported on Tuesday.

"Intervention of prefecture police in progress at Paris 10 following a hostage-taking," Paris police headquarters wrote on Twitter.
