Chinese smartphone vendor OnePlus unveiled its latest offering of a full-screen, all-glass handset in Beijing on Thursday.

The company's slogan, "Producing the best Android flagship smartphones", has been widely spread since the company's founding four years ago. Pete Lau, founder and chief executive of OnePlus, gave a clearer definition of how to do that.

"The best Android flagship handset is not only equipped with best parts, but also provides smooth user experience ", Lau said during the launch ceremony.

The new device features a 6.28-inch optic AMOLED display with a resolution of 2280 x 1080 pixels and support for a taller 19:9 aspect ratio. It is powered by Qualcomm's latest Snapdragon 845 chip.

OnePlus 6 boasts a dual camera setup at the back with a 20MP Sony IMX519 sensor and a 16MP Sony IMX376K sensor, both with an f/1.7 aperture.

The handset ships with Dash Charge, which is OnePlus' proprietary fast charging technology, and a battery with a capacity of 3,300 mAh.

The gadget is available in three colors, mirror black, midnight black and silk white.

The OnePlus 6 is priced at 3,199 yuan for 6GB RAM and 64GB of storage in mirror black, 3,599 yuan for the 8GB RAM and 128GB storage in all three colors and 3,999 yuan for the 8GB RAM and 256GB storage in midnight black.

The new products will go on sale on Tuesday, together with the Marvel Avengers Limited Edition of the OnePlus 6 with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage for 4,199 yuan.

A bluetooth headset also was released and is priced at 399 yuan.

According to an earlier report by The Telegraph, the Shenzhen-based company doubled its revenues to more than $1.4 billion in 2017 and this came with "healthy profits”.

About 70 percent of last year's revenues came from the overseas market, a company press release said, which was solid proof of the smartphone maker's global market strategy from the very start.

In India, OnePlus beat Apple to become the best selling high-end smartphone vendor with a market share of 50.5 percent in 2017, according to a smartphone industry report by Market research firm IDC.

In the United States, OnePlus won a 44.3 percent market share of smartphones in the $400 to $600 price range, IDC said this month.
