China (Liaoning) and Hungary Friendship Week opens in NE China

China (Liaoning) and Hungary Friendship Week 2018 opened at Liaoning Grand Theatre in Shenyang, capital of Northeast China’s Liaoning province, on May 8.

The event was sponsored by the Liaoning Provincial People’s Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries, the Liaoning Foreign Affairs Office, Embassy of Hungary in China, and Beijing Hungarian Cultural Institute.

More than 200 people attended the opening ceremony, including artists from Hungary, teachers and students from universities in Liaoning, and foreign residents in Shenyang.

During the friendship week, activities including Chinese and Hungarian cultural exchanges and the film culture of Hungary will be held.

More than 40 artists and folk handicrafts people from Hungary will join Liaoning artists to show unique cultures of the two places.
