Woodblock prints by Fujian artists on display in Beijing

The woodblock print Metropolis Mirage by painter Cai Li. Cai is among 39 artists from East China's Songxi county in Fujian province whose woodblock printing works are on display at the National Art Museum in Beijing. Songxi was named the "home of Chinese woodblock printing art" by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism in 2000, according to the museum's website. A total of 89 woodblock prints are on show at the exhibition titled Ecological Home until May 6. [Photo/namoc.org]
