Like Child's Play, an exhibition of street arts by French artist Julien Malland, opened at the Museum of Contemporary Art in Shanghai on March 22.

Inspired by the old neighborhood of Shanghai, the exhibition invites visitors to escape reality and rediscover the city through the eyes of a child, where the narrow streets once again become a giant playground.

Born in Paris in 1972, Malland – commonly known as Seth – rose to fame in Shanghai with his paintings of children on the walls in different parts of the city.

He started painting on walls in the mid-1990s and has since 2003 been touring the world to interact with street artists from different cultures.
