Sichuan, Guangxi and Jiangxi have new party chiefs

BEIJING  -- Wang Dongming will no longer concurrently hold the position of secretary of Sichuan Provincial Committee of the Communist Party of China (CPC), according to a decision of the CPC Central Committee.

Peng Qinghua will serve as the Party chief of Sichuan Province.

Peng was secretary of the CPC Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Regional Committee before being replaced by Lu Xinshe on Wednesday.

Liu Qi replaced Lu to become secretary of Jiangxi Provincial Committee of the CPC.
