Woman with one leg earns big income through hard work

Decent income and a promising career prove that hard work pays off, as in the case of Xia Ou, a woman with one leg pursuing her dreams in Luoyang, Central China's Henan province.
The 21-year-old woman left her small village five years ago, and got her first job in Luoyang with a salary of more than 200 yuan a month. But her hard work soon won her a promotion in the company, and three years later, she could afford to buy a house for her parents. Since then, Xia started her own business, with a monthly income of more than 50,000 yuan on average.
Though Xia lost her left leg due to an accident in her childhood, she learned how to ride a bike, got a driver’s license within two months, bought her own car, and livestreams on the internet.
Xia said that her goal for 2018 is to lead her team to increase their total revenue to 8 million yuan, including the 1 million yuan she hopes to take home in earnings for the year.
