It is an exciting speech because President Xi Jinping wants to show the world that the Belt and Road Initiative is a serious initiative and signals multilateral cooperation among countries. China is taking the first step with many concrete measures. The number of heads of states and governments shows that the world is excited about what China is doing. I hope this initiative would have many possibilities of success.
