Selby leads Ding 10-7 at snooker worlds final

The Chinese star followed it up with a century, his 13th of the tournament, and a break of 89 to reduce the deficit to 7-5.

Ding grabbed two of the next three, including 15th frame which lasted 66 minutes to make it 8-7.

Selby regained form to take the last two frames of the session for a 10-7 lead into the second day's battle.

The third session will be held on Monday afternoon and the winner will be decided in the fourth session in the evening.
