FILM BUFFS

The organizing committee of the 2nd DC Chinese Film Festival held a press conference on Sunday, introducing prominent jury members on screen and calling for film entries from the US, the Chinese mainland, Taiwan and the Chinese diaspora. TEST RESULTS

Participants take the Youth Chinese Test (YCT) for non-native primary and secondary students at Portland State University on March 23. The Confucius Institute at Portland State University has organized a total of 33 Hanyu Shuiping Kaoshi (HSK) tests and the YCT and so far some 1,200 students have taken the tests for certifi cation in Chinese and scholarships for further study in China.
