RIDING HIGH

Lucy Chen, freshman from Tompkins High School of Katy won Overall Reserve Grand Champion in the 2014 Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo art competition last week. Her work was auctioned for a record high of $196,000 which will be used for charity. Chen has been a student of Wang Xinsheng Art Studio for three years. For her achievement, Chen will attend a four-week workshop at Western Art Academy. Provided to China Daily
