With the days numbered, a seriously ill woman married the man of her dreams
It was only a 30-minute wedding, but 44-year-old bride Xie Qingfang found it hard to stand that long. Xie, who has terminal lung cancer, tied the knot with 50-year-old Korean Tea Ingun in a small auditorium in Beijing on Dec 12. The couple met two years ago. She supported him when his career was at a low ebb, and he proposed after she was diagnosed with cancer. But for the ailing bride, the ceremony had to be quick.
