![]() Los Angeles Chinese Consul General Qiu Shaofang (right) talks with students at a safety promotion event at the University of Southern California on Monday, September 10. In cooperation with local police and attorneys, the Chinese Consulate General in Los Angeles organized the event to clarify laws and available resources for Chinese international students. Two USC Chinese international students were shot this spring close to the campus. Additional safety promotion events will also be held at other universities, including UCLA.
