A 13-year-old boy from Los Angeles suburbs who was accused of starting the Morris Dam Fire was charged Friday in juvenile court with two felony counts, prosecutors said.

The juvenile, whose name is being withheld because of his age, is set to be arraigned on November 17 in Pomona Juvenile Court on one felony count of arson of a forest and another count of recklessly causing a fire to a forest or structure. The fire was the first to start in Angeles National Forest Park in northeastern Los Angeles later last month and razed nearly 3000 acres (1,214 hectares) of land.
