Shanghai show focuses on drinks technology
Several UK businesses will display their wares at the China Brew and Beverage Expo 2016 in Shanghai between Tuesday and Friday. The delegation of companies involved in beverage processing technology and equipment is led by Britain's Brewing, Food and Beverage Industry Suppliers Association. This year's event at the Shanghai New International Expo Center will feature 800 exhibitors housed in 100,000 square meters of space.
Belt and Road opportunities explored

The China-Britain Business Council is hosting a seminar in Xi'an, China, on Wednesday to explore opportunities arising from the Belt and Road Initiative. The event will include speeches and discussions involving some of the UK companies that contributed to a recent report on the issue, as well as Chinese firms that want to forge trade and investment partnerships with Britain. The Belt and Road Case Studies Seminar will be staged at the conference center in Renmin Square, Xi'an. Barbara Woodward, the British ambassador to China, will take part along with Xi'an municipal government representatives and representatives from KPMG, Savills and HSBC.
Chefs to conjure up flavor of China
"Bitesize China" at the China Exchange on Wednesday will feature TV chef Ching-He Huang, restaurateur Andrew Wong and food writer Fuchsia Dunlop, who will offer insights into cooking great Chinese food. The event is being staged at 32a Gerrard Street, London.
Royal Academy duo to give recital
