An intense heat wave has been sweeping Europe, with countries from Spain to England setting record high temperatures.
Spain and Portugal are already on alert after temperatures reached 44 degrees Celsius in the Spanish city of Cordoba.
An all-time July record high temperature for the United Kingdom was set at London's Heathrow Airport, as the mercury soared to 37 degrees Celsius.
