DPRK, Russia hold talks on oil, gas cooperation

PYONGYANG - The Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK) and Russia held talks on oil and gas cooperation here Tuesday, the official news agency KCNA reported.

The talks were held at the Mansudae Assembly Hall between delegations from the DPRK Ministry of Oil Industry, led by minister Kim Hui Yong, and Russian energy giant Gazprom, led by chairman Alexander Ananenkov.

Other issues of bilateral concern were also discussed at the talks, according to the KCNA, without disclosing details.
