SEOUL - A 39-story shopping mall in the eastern part of Seoul trembled on Tuesday morning, forcing hundreds of people to flee the building, officials said.

Between 300 to 500 people fled the Techno Mart building in Seoul's Gwangjin District after the building shook for about 10 minutes on Tuesday morning, fire officials said. No injuries have been reported.

It remains unknown what had caused the shaking of the building. Officials are investigating.

The Gwangjin District Office has ordered all the people working at the building to evacuate. "We will immediately place the order and conduct a thorough safety examination," a district official was quoted as saying by Yonhap news agency.
