Explosion hits Egypt gas pipeline to Israel

ISMAILIA, Egypt - A pipeline carrying gas from Egypt to Israel and Jordan has been hit by an explosion, Egyptian security sources said on Monday.

The explosion took place at pumping station along the pipeline at Nagah in the Bir Abdu region in the northern Sinai Peninsula, the sources said.
