KUALA LUMPUR - Three people were killed when a landslide destroyed an orphanage at about 02:15 pm local time in Hulu Langat, a district in the southeast part of Selangor, Malaysia.
Meanwhile, 11 others are still trapped by the landslide.
Among the three victims, two were aged at 11 and 14. They were taking a motivational course when the tragedy happened.
According to local media TheStar, the orphanage was partially buried by two landslides, killing three and critically injuring six.
A total of 49 occupants were in the orphanage when the incident happened.
Rescuing work is still going on.
