BRASILIA - Foreign Ministers of Brazil and Venezuela said Tuesday the relationship between the two countries is flourishing, especially in trade and regional affairs.
Brazilian Foreign Minister Antonio Patriota highlighted in a statement the housing and agricultural projects currently under cooperation as priority in the new phase of bilateral ties since President Rousseff took office.
Patriota reaffirmed Brazil's commitment to push for Venezuela's entry into the Common Market of the South (Mercosur), which is awaiting the final congressional approval of Paraguay.
The two ministers also discussed the possibilities of restoring Honduras's membership of the Organization of American States after the coup against then President Manuel Zelaya.
Rousseff will attend the Summit of Latin American and Caribbean Integration and Development on July 5 in Caracas, capital of Venezuela.
