UK says unwaware of Bin Laden link to nuke arrests

LONDON - British police said they were unaware of any link between the arrest of five men under counter-terrorism laws near an English nuclear reprocessing plant and the death al Qaeda leader Osama bin Laden in Pakistan.

"At this stage we are not aware of any connection to recent events in Pakistan," Cumbria police said in a statement.    

Police said the men were arrested on Monday close to the Sellafield nuclear reprocessing plant in northwest England after officers conducted a stop check on a vehicle.
