Gambia recognizes Libyan Transitional Council

BANJUL - The Gambian government on Wednesday declared recognition of Libya's anti-Gaddafi Transitional National Council.

Gambia fully recognizes the rebel Transitional National Council as the only legitimate body that represents the interest and affairs of the people of Libya, secretary to the cabinet Ebrima Camara told reporters at State House in the capital Banjul.
