PYONGYANG - Rodong Sinmun (Newspaper of the Workers) of the Democratic People' s Republic of Korea (DPRK) issued a commentary on Wednesday denouncing the talk about "sincerity" of the Republic of Korea (ROK) authorities as nonsensical, the official news agency KCNA reported Thursday.

The ROK authorities were misleading public opinion while talking about the "sincerity" of the DPRK in a bid to evade their blame for bringing the inter-Korean relations to catastrophe and dialogue to collapse and justify their policy for confrontation, the commentary said.

"They have neither face nor qualification to talk about sincerity." it said.

ROK's response to the DPRK's proposal of dialogue without any precondition with anti-DPRK psychological warfare and war moves was an intolerable mockery and insult to the dialogue partner, it said.

"Their rhetoric about 'sincerity' is also aimed to tide over the serious domestic ruling crisis," the commentary added.

"The DPRK will keep closely following the ROK authorities' future attitude," said the commentary, urging Seoul to take a sincere attitude.
