The mines and munitions will be destroyed in coming hours with a controlled explosion.

The Presidential Program for the Integral Actions against Antipersonnel mines (Pacima) said at the end of 2010 that between 1990 and March 2010 there were 8,329 people killed or injured by antipersonnel mines in Colombia.
