In its weekly meeting, the cabinet approved police's proposal to impose the Chapter Two of ISA in some districts in the capital from February 24 to March 10, in an effort to better handle demonstrations around key government compounds.

The imposition will be in effect from midnight of February 23.

The chapter was earlier imposed in the seven districts from February 9-23.

This chapter in the legislation will allow the authorities to bar any person to enter the protest site and impose curfew.
