ROK to send three DPRK fishermen back home

SEOUL- The Republic of Korea(ROK) will send back three DPRK fishermen who were rescued last month in ROK's waters near a disputed sea border, the unification ministry here said.

ROK's Red Cross officials will repatriate the fishermen in the afternoon, as the DPRK nationals, who accidentally drifted across the sea border, expressed their wish to return home during the interrogation by the authorities, unification ministry spokesman Chun Hae-sung told reporters in a press briefing.

Another DPRK national rescued near the tense maritime border in a separate case is currently being questioned, Chun added.
