BISHKEK -- No political party can win absolute majority in the ongoing parliamentary election, former Kyrgyz prime minister Almazbek Atambayev told journalists here Sunday at a polling station.

Of the 29 parties running for the parliamentary seats, no one can win overwhelming victory, thus the parties that can get into the parliament will have to form coalitions in their bid to seize as many seats as possible, Atambayev said.
