KUALA LUMPUR - A self-made bomb placed in front of a condominium unit exploded, seriously injuring two Malaysians here on Sunday.
The Malaysian police said that a box containing several ball - shape bombs made of firecrackers and kerosene, as well as two pomelos were left in front of the condominium unit on the 12th floor.

Windows of several condominium units on the same floor and other floors were also fragmented due to the strong blast.
Acting Cheras district police chief Abdul Rahim told reporters that several rescue teams were deployed to carry out investigations at the scene.
The two victims were also rushed to a hospital nearby, with one of them in the critical stage, said Abdul Rahim.
He also said that the police would watch the closed-circuit television's recording to identify the suspect or suspects, while urging the public to provide information to the authority.
While the police had ruled out the possibility of debt-related menace, the incident could be caused by other personal affairs or disputes.
Meanwhile, the Malaysian Inspector-General of Police Musa Hassan said that the incident was not related to terrorism.
