The injured tourists were sent to nearby hospitals and are currently in good condition, the report said.

In May, a coach overturned and fell off a bridge into a river bed in the Antalya province, killing 16 people on the bus, including 14 Russian tourists.

The incident in May had raised concerns about the safety of charter tourist buses in Turkey, while tourism officials said overwork and inadequate training of drivers might have contributed to the accident.

On Wednesday, a road accident involving five vehicles killed two people, including an Italian, in the northern province of Bolu, with 12 others injured, the agency reported Thursday.

Three of the involved vehicles had foreign license plates, it said.
