TV reports showed Gary Faulkner Wednesday afternoon after arriving at Los Angeles International Airport. His brother Scott Faulkner said he was scheduled to arrive in Denver later Wednesday.

The Colorado man had been detained in Pakistan since June 13.

Gary Faulkner told officials he was out to kill the al-Qaida leader. He was then moved to Islamabad, and his brother said on Tuesday that he was being released by the Pakistani government without charges.
