One killed in shootout near General Hospital in Lahore

ISLAMABAD: At least one was killed and another injured in a shootout which broke out late Wednesday night nearby General Hospital in the downtown area of Lahore, a city in east Pakistan, according to a report by the local media DawnNews.

The police has reportedly arrived at the site and blocked the area. No other details about the shootout are available.

On Monday night, four armed terrorists dressed in police uniforms attacked another hospital named Jinnah in Lahore, killing at least 12 persons including three cops and injuring a number of others following last Friday's terrorist attacks at two worship places in the city, leaving over 90 persons dead and more than 100 others injured.
