Free H1N1 vaccines available for Beijing universities

All students studying at universities in Beijing will have access to free A(H1N1) vaccines this month, vice director of the Beijing Center for Disease Control and Prevention Pang Xinghuo said Friday, according to qq.com.

Vaccinations for students at Beihang University began on Tuesday and are expected to be finished by Saturday, according to the university's website.

A Beihang freshman died from the A(H1N1) flu on October 27, though the student was not on campus when infected. Vaccinations for Peking University students will begin this weekend, according the university's website.

Though there is no strict order for who must be vaccinated first, the government is working to make sure primary and middle school students will all be vaccinated by November 15th, Pang said. Other groups of people will receive vaccinations later.
