PORT HARCOURT - Kidnappers on Tuesday released six Russian aluminum smelter workers kidnapped more than two months ago in restive southern Nigeria.
The four men and two women could be seen by reporters at a headquarters for Nigeria's State Security Services in the country's southern oil region, and officials said they were the six Russians seized June 3. None had any visible injuries, but officials prevented reporters from interviewing the released hostages.
