MANILA -- Philippine President Gloria Macapagal Arroyo returned to Manila Saturday afternoon after attending the opening ceremony of the Boao Forum for Asia Annual Conference 2007, said officials of the presidential palace.

During her brief visit to Boao, Arroyo met with China's chief legislator, Wu Bangguo, and delivered a keynote speech at the opening ceremony of the forum.
