Iran to hand over atomic reply at 1230 GMT

Updated: 2006-08-22 17:19 TEHRAN - Iran will hand over
its response to a nuclear package backed by six nations on Tuesday afternoon at
4 p.m. (1230 GMT) in the Iranian capital, a journalist for Iran's
Arabic-language news channel Al-Alam reported.
Iran will hand it to the ambassadors of Russia, China, France, Britain and
Germany, in addition to the Swiss ambassador who will represent the United
States, because Washington does not have an embassy in Tehran, an Al-Alam
reporter told Reuters, after broadcasting the news on the channel.
